Value? 83 Rabbit GTI
Looking at selling my 1983 Rabbit GTI with extensive mods .
Suspension
Tockico shocks on Apex springs
Rear sway bar
Front sway bar
K bar
Custom strut bar in the front
Poly bushings everywhere, including the front strut bushings.\
Brakes
16v rocco brakes front and back
Braided brake lines
Exterior
Euro bumpers
Stock corrado lip
no headliner
VW motor sport steering wheel
Seats are in mint shape, so is the rest of the interior
Mechanical oil pressure gauge
air/fuel gauge
Engine
port and polish to the max
5 angle valve job,
heavy valve springs
288 schrick cam
autotech adjustable cam gear
3a 2.0 bubble block
lightened/balanced/knife edged crank
ARP hardware in block and head
11:1 compression
brospeed headers
2.25" TT exhaust, borla mufler
swiss cheesed air box (K&N filter) with ram air intake
Ported intake manifold
A2 throttle body
lightened flywheel, sachs sports clutch, 16v Pressure plate
4K tranny
short shifter
2 poly motor mount bushings, and 2 TT hard rubber mounts
Old school oil cooler with thermostat
I rebuilt the bottom end of the motor this spring and did rings in the fall (long story about previous owner being an idiot).
Recently put on Falken Azenis RT 615 all around. Brembo rotors up front with top of the line Napa pads.
Drivers side floor is getting a little punky and some holes in rockers where a previous mechanic lifted it on a hoist.
With some time and some effort it can be a quite clean car again.
Just looking for a guesstimate
Cheers

Where is she from? Why were the fenders replaced? How's the inner fenders, strut towers, rear pan, front floor, etc? A pillars look a little too nice for an Ontario car, what's the mileage on the body?

Drivers side floor pan needs some fixing as it's a little soft. Don't know the whole history of the car except that it has spent it's whole life in Ontario. Odo says 160K. Inner fenders are good, strut towers are good, rear pan is good.

Can you take some pics of the drivers side floor? I've replaced those before, so I know it's not that big a deal. But I'd like to see some close ups of the seams on the strut towers, a pic of the spare tire well, and the body seam, right beside the rear bumper mounts. Oh, and also the front suspension mounts. Especially the drivers side. Thanks man.
