96' Golf CL wiring problem, need help!!
my daytime running lights on the right side stay on. I was simply cleaning my car with the radio on and then i started the car to run the battery again and then i smelt burning coming from the dash....you know that electronics type of burning smell?............then my lights began to stay on even when the car is off. DOES ANYONE know anything about this because i took out fuse 7 which is the right side day time lights and it still stays on..........seems to me the relay is messed because the connection seems to by pass the fuse box and hence a direct connection.
i know it looks like alot but please any shoops or has anyone had this problem.
another issue was that the previous owner had a sound system installed which is also a factor in why im guessing some short circuiting occured...please anyone help!!!

CL's have single chamber headlights - Pull the first or second fuse for now.
Also - there is another fuse, hidden - for DRL's - but for some reason I cant remember where it is - I think its either behind the gauge cluster or the ac switches
BTW - does anything else stay on after you shut everything off? - even with the key out of the ignition?
