what are my consequences

i recieved a ticket for not having a front mounted lisence plate, i did however have the plate in my windshield, the office still gave me the $110 ticket, i had 15 days to set a court date but never had the chance to call the crown, so now i still have the unpaid ticket and no court date, its been about a month or so now, if i get pulled over agian can they suspend my lisence, or arest me or anything, what are the consequences for this?

soon you should receive a letter of conviction and a request for the payment amount. they won't arest you, its not that serious, but they will know that you have a recent conviction.

6Msentra will become famous soon enough
and as a lesson... if you crash with the plate in your windshield you will have a nice thin piece of metal (think knife) flying around the cabin slicing you up.

if you dont have it on the front of your car, dont even bother bringing it with you... you'll still get the ticket.

im pretty sure you can still have the case reopened but for such a simple fine i dont think there a point.

Few people are aware that you have 45 days in total to file a ticket for trial, not the 15 indicated on the citation.

You're likely past that now, but keep it in mind in the future.

Jesse is right. It's not a moving violation, there are no points associated with it. I wouldn't bother having this reopened - under the letter of the law, having your plate in the windshield isn't legal.
