renewing driving license
me and my buddy were thinking yesterday, need any info who knows.
so lets say you have g2 with couple of points on the record, and your license expires, you take g1 again then full g, technicaly the driving lincnce number should change, meaning that you are new driver again. however when getting quote from insurance you say you already have 5 years exp, just you were out of province and your license expired or smth like that, and you dont remenmber old lisence number, so they treat you like experience driver and with clean record. cause they cant check by name (imagine how many Lee's they would found). would that work or no?

im pretty sure you keep the same number that you had in the past you just renew you license. Your idea makes no sense stating to an insurance company that you have 5 years of experience with what to prove it?
