Too many backyard mechanics try to mod on the cheap and end up with leaky brake lines or electrical fires etc, endangering other people and vehicles..
For once, I agree with the police's intent 100%... as long as they restrict themselves to Cheaply (illegally) Modified Cars.. not just ANY (properly) modified car.

to the pigs everything that's not factory is illegaly modified .
to some dumber ones , even stock factory cars with "oddities" like a BMW with Hid's , might seem illegal .
Backyard mechanics , are just as bad , if not better , than stupid-Canadian Tire workers ...
