Help, got a slowing ticket!

So here I am just cruising the strip heading downtown. Minding my own business checking out the chicks when wam! Cherries come on. I pull to the right and cop pulls behind me. Gets out and yada yada yada, gives me a "Slowing" ticket (opposite of speeding). Tells me I was going 35 in a 60 zone and I threatens to take the Vette away from me. Says I don't know how to respect the car and if I was going 90 he could appreciate it and would have let me off.

How many points do I lose? I was 25km under isn't that like -3 points, compared to 3 points for 25km/hr over?

I'm so pissed, should I fight the ticket? Anyone have any suggestions for Lawyers. Basically the cops are telling me I have to drive faster.

Were you checking out the chicks on Church St. with tree stumps? :supergay: I'd give you a ticket too! I guess that's why he mentioned that you should be doing 90 km/h!!!

That really sucks... How comes old people in their big lincoln's or whatever never get pulled over for that stuff?? Cause honestly, I have been behind some of the slowest drivers in the world!! At least he said that you should have been driving fast... But yeah, then they probably would have pulled you over for that!! Anyway I am really sorry to hear about your ticket!! Good luck with it all.

I'd go to court for this.

Is there any evidence or suggestion that there was 20plus vehicles you were holding up?

Also

1) Like the idea of looking for a sign...that sounds very reasonable

2) Can always say that "I'm one of the few that actually obey a regulatory sign.........namely "MAXIMUM" 60km/hr"....the sign does not say minimum

My $0.02

Sorry guys, I was just joking but no one really flamed me. Do I look like someone that would drive below the speed limit?

Chrias: Those "chicks" were asking for you.
