its not easy to win.
I fought an excessive noise (flow masters on my stang) after 3+ people pleaded guilty to excessive noise with theirs.. yes, all mustangs..

Long story short, Fine was dropped, i was found guilty. So it cost me $0 but it went on my record.... better than nothing.

Shorten up your "quotes" a little, eh!

First of all, no one is going to care (in court) about anything other than the speed of your car. Just forget about all that other "baggage". They've heard it all, and quite frankly, it bores them.

Secondly, submit a request for Disclosure. Form: http://www.roadwarriors.ca/resources...ureRequest.pdf
When you receive your Disclosure, it will show all the evidence the prosecuter has against you, including photocopies of the officers notes, statements you made at the stop, weather conditions, etc. Now you have something you can start your defence strategy with!! After reading your details, I would recommend you go solely after the Laser evidence. Nothing else is going to matter. Unless you can successfully suggest you were forced to speed (due to another car on your butt) in order to safely merge. If the officer has nothing in his notes (see Discovery) about other traffic, he may be forced to admit that it IS possible you were forced to speed. All you have to do is show a "reasonable doubt", and the case should be dismissed. Also, I wouldn't take the stand if I were you. After you are finished questioning the officer, they WILL try to coax you to the witness stand "in your own defence". I would decline this offer unless you REALLY know what you're doing. As long as your not sworn in, nothing you say can be legally defined as a lie. If you're caught lying "on the stand", your done for!!! As a stupid 18 yr.old, I once got tricked into taking the stand. The judge asked me if my car was in the parking lot outside (he had looked out earlier apparently). I said yes and identified it out the window. I lost THAT case (which should have been an easy win), but now, 25 years later, I know why. My car was jacked way up in the back with big fat tires on the back with Cragars (of course) which was the style back then. He surely profiled me as a "thug" based solely on the car I drove and "BAMM", guilty... get lost! LOL

Use Google.Earth to print an aerial view of the area. Start writing a list of questions you want to ask the cop (on the stand). After every question, write down what you believe his answer to be. You should only ask questions you know the answer to. Read your list of questions in court (don't try to memorize them).

I can't list ALL the steps you need to take to win your case, in this thread. I would PM you the "speeding ticket defence program" that I PAID for, but in previous threads you spouted off about how pathetic Cavaliers are. Being the proud owner of a twin-cam z24, let me tell you that your general demeanour in this forum offends me, so what advice I do give is solely for the benefit of OTHER readers.

Here's a start... Go through this tutorial several times: http://www.roadwarriors.ca/resources...ial/index.html
