New pics of a possible MKV Supra?
The yellow one is a new pic. The others as most may know have been floating around for a while. This is from a Japanese magazine that recently came out (last week I beleive). Someone scanned and posted it.
The yellow concept has a "gallardo-ish" look to it. I like the side profile. Need's some more refinement in the lighting dept. (i.e. taillights look to civic-ish and headlights are too celica-ish).
Either way I'll believe there's a MKV Supra it when I see it on showroom floor. If one ever does come out I'm sure Toyota won't disappoint.
Hey GAT EXPLORER.....get your *** in gear and do some investigative reporting!!
From what I've read this is a photochop of the Scion TC. Whatever it is it looks in nice. Headlights just need some more tweaking but I'd hit it. :thumbsup

the Supra is going to be power either 4uz-fe or 5uz-fe, the new GS460 is just on the horizon with at least 360hp, the new gen of LS will have LS500h, its basically a hybrid with the 4/5uz making 400hp and an electric motor putting out 100hp.
I just hope the base price of the new Supra won't exceed $30k usd.

There wont be another Supra sold in north america for a long LONG time. Not with 350-500 horsepower Mustangs GTs/COBRAS, Challenger R/Ts/SRT8s and rumours of a Camaro SS/ZL1 on the horizon. All those FAST Imports they use to sell here went back to Japan because they didnt sell worth of compared to the competition ie..Camaros, Mustangs, Vettes and Vipers. With 5-6 More Domestic contenders to deal with NOW ..It'll never happen. MUSCLECARS ARE BACK!

Ok then buddy why did GM cease production of the Camaro? Why? Oh I know why... because no one was buying them anymore! The people that would have normally bought a Camaro went out and bought a Subaru WRX, a Lancer Evo, used Supra, used RX7, etc etc etc...

Actually, if you look at the sales, most sports cars took a real hit in sales during the mid '90s (when the supra and rx-7 were pulled), not just imported ones, and if i aint mistaken, they aint exactly selling a load of firebirds lately, if you catch my drift

Good points. What I shouldve meant was for the price of a supra, for a few bucks more you coulda gotten a Vette. Most did. B6T.Dude. YOU DRIVE A ING FIESTA!! You dont have a point.
COOK, going with your theory If sports cars SELL, then we may see a title bout. I doubt it though. Just because Turbo Imports are popular now (because our broke asses can afford them 10 years later) Dont mean there commin back. Last guy I was talking to with an STi at a stag was in his mid 50s and openly admitted I knew more about the car than he did. $$$$ TALKS...Bullshit walks. Boyz.

My point was only that at the point that the rx-7 and the supra were pulled, most of the domestic sports cars were either already pulled, or in the process of being pulled from the market. Really the only thing that matters right now is how saturated the market gets with these cars. There's even the possibility that if there are too many choices in terms of decent new sports cars, the prices will drop, which would be very good for all of us.
