Just because you hear everyone saying that Vipers, Corvettes, Camaros and Firebirds are straight-line-only cars, don't rock it 'till you try it. Not only have they been developed for power, they've got great handling as well. If Mopar and GM designed cars for straight lines, they wouldn't have steering wheels. We live in a world filled with twists and turns. Mopar and GM account for that, as many Viper and Corvette owners do take their cars to the track.
The only reason why many people say they're only straight-line cars is because they've got a bad impression after test driving one, or don't have one.
So unless you've owned one, don't come into conclusions saying that straight lines are all they've got going. They've got way more than that!
