The Spring Has Sprung
Well, since there's only a pathetic 5 posts in the whole "NorthWest" Forum, I figure I better get this place back on the map. I know a lot of you guys that are from California and Arizona don't have to worry so much about the weather, but up here in the Pacific North West, it's a major topic.
It completely sucks from mid-October thru mid-April.......that's 6 solid months of crappy grey skies, constant rain, and just cold wet nasty weather. I just seen the next ten day forecast a few minutes ago, and it looks like it's going to be mostly sunny all the way through....
Thankfully about this time of the year it starts getting nice again. Right now it's around 8:30 in the morning and it's already about 68 degrees and sunny. I've got all the windows open and Buckcherry's "CrazyBitch" blasting on the stereo. (I'll bet the neighbors are just lovin me right now)
I think I'll pop the tops on the Z in about an hour, and go for a cruise down to Mt. St Helens. I actually haven't been down there since it blew the North face of the mountain off back in May of 1980. That will be a nice three hour cruise to go on today since I'm semi-retired and don't have to go to work.

Yep.....It's actually a lot nicer over there than it is over on this side of the mountains. I use to live in Moses Lake from 83-85 and the back in 2003 for another 8 months, and over there you get a lot hotter temps and it's not so humid like it is over here.
And over there you get all four seasons. I can't remember the last time we got more than an inch of snow here.

its funny i get all excited when it rains just because its different from the sun all the time but i know the feeling i lived in england for a while and it used to be cloudy and rainy and crap for like half a year at a time and it just sucks and get kinda depressing but the cruise sounds like fun.
