Burlington
I'm not really sure if this is the right place to post this or not, so feel free to move it if it's not.
I live in Burlington, and I'm just wondering if there are ever any events or meeting areas or anything along those lines. I know in the summer there is a show at the Mapleview Mall every wednesday, but other then that I don't know of any.
I don't really see to many tuned cars in Burlington, and usually the ones I do see arent really tuned, just some cosmetic things done.
Anyway, thanks for info in advance.

the mapleview wont happen this year, on the site it said " CLASSICS ONLY" they were having problems young kids being stupid, like burning out speeding blairing stereos, theres a load of old people there, all there going to do it complain

Its not so much the stereos as the idiots doing burnouts in a crowded parking lot. I used to go every week with my Tib, and my uncle has a 74' Cutlass.
And its not always the young guys spinning tires. Some of the older guys do it to, especially with the older mustangs and camaros. They're going to lose a lot of money by only keeping it open to the classics.
Every week there would be a Fiero club, Viper club, and even a friggin's Smart car club that would show up. Its retarded if they cut out all the newer cars.
I know 2 of the guys from the Lions Club that run the thing, I'll speak to them and see what I can find out.
EDIT* The pic in my sig was taken on one of those nights.....

UPDATE***
The show will continue as normal. I spoke with a representative with the Lions Club and he assured me that there will still be a section for newer cars and that they will have the mall change the information on the website.
I hope to see some of you come out to this and support a local charity regardless of what you're driving. Its for a good cause.
I've volunteered to help out along with other members from Lethal Invasion. If you're interested in helping out or joining us, shoot me a PM.

I might come down every once and awhile, bringing the M3 or the S55; at the very least walking around. Quick question though, you don't need to sign up for it or anything do you? You just show up and park your car within the roped of area, correct?

I wouldn't say that this year.. there are more full size trucks now then imports lol. I agree with you on the sound systems though. atleast they don't crank them up and stand around. there are a few friends that I know down there that have some quick rides.
we do need something more orginized.. I'd be down for the new autospa as it's close to my house.
