Rick, why you go there sooo early? I usually show up there round 8:30. You miss all the burnouts n ***** that goes on after the raffles.
This Saturday at Canadian Tire on Queensway + 427 is sposed to be one of their big nights of the season.
Scrape by the Lake is Sunday August 19 in St Catherines
Haugens in Manchester on August 22 (1,000+ cars turn out)
Georgetown main street cruise on August 24 Friday from 5 - 11pm. I've been going there for a few years now - nice setting, great turn outs
Waterdown Fall show September 22
Last Chance car show and swap in Welland on Sept 30
loads of others I usually go to.
Anyone else hitting these places up?

Its no bigger than the one at Cnd Tire @ 403 + 5. About 200-250 cars show up. Half the cars there also cruise Cali's, Brampton.
Now the Mapleviel Mall cruise and the Thornhill Cruise are big and NuTz. I havn't had time to go to either this year, but usually you get 350 - 550 cars respectivly.
Ya I'll be at the Street Classics Car Club cruise on Saturnday for a while, say 8 - 9pm.

Really?
Fred Soares, the guy who's been running it for decades is an old dude, maybe he's sick or died or they moved - I dunno. The Street Classics Car Club was a splinter club that used to cruise there. Years back Fred and a bunch of other guys used to start butting heads on what direction to take the club. Fred said it was his club and he aint budging. So the next year when they moved from the old CT on Winston Churchill to the newer CT on 5, the Street Classics Car Club was formed and they stopped going to Freds and started their own at Queensway CT, personally I like that group better cuz they put on better cruises. Fred was/is a stand up guy, a lil hard to deal with but noble.
I kinda got outta all car related stuff about 3 yrs back and have just been dealing with life and doing my own thing, so I lost track of all the classic car type things.

Yea, ive kinda heard both sides of the story since when youre at one i often say "at the other show i seen this awesome......"
Then someone always feels compelled to tell the story... its been pretty vague.
I will likely be at the CTC show Saturday night unless i stick it out at the CSCS event at Cayuga.
