I was wondering if anyone knew how much it costs to have the battery of the car replaced and how long the battery should last. Thanks!

I've heard $6000 - $9000. I'm sure, eventually, someone will come up with a remanufactured, or inexpensive ones out of China. We're hearing 5-8 years for battery life, but I don't know that it's really been long enough to really get a good baseline going. Also, I assume it will depend on where you drive, and what kind of conditions the battery is subjected to.
