...full size spare? Is it better than 2002-2006 models?Do you like the new placement of the shifter on the floor instead of on the dashboard? Is it worth buying?

The design is a bit more agressive and i personally love the head light. its spare tire is in the drum and not on the rear door. I really love it and prefer it to the nissan murano. I was really interested in the murano before but when i saw the CRV, it was just great. Furthermore with Honda you are sure to drive a good car, a cool car.

The ride is softer, the interior has a more luxury feel to it... Heck, even on the reviews such as edmunds, it is said that Honda purposely "urbanized" CR-V. You can look the urbanization directly on the stance, sporting a low slung coupe look, and a lower center of gravity. The spare tire is located at the rear section, on the bottom of the double decker storage compartment. The space is actually available on the 2nd generation CR-V (2002-2006) models. In Asia, it is common to see "smooth rear" 2nd generation CR-V, because to everybody surprise, most CR-V owners doesn't realize they have an additional full size spare tire storage on the inside of the car. Once they knew about it, it's off to mod garage we go... I even used to think that the "smooth rear" CR-V users are dumb people because they get rid of the spare...Shame on me, cause I didn't know about the inner storage space back then. So in reality, you can have two full size spare tire on 2nd generation CR-V. This is why the 3rd generation CR-V doesn't have the spare tire dangling on the back anymore, because people just move the spares inside.
