No. I think most of the problem is that people are afraid of falling. If you change your attitude and get on a bike with the knowledge that it's not a matter of "if" you fall, it's a matter of "when" you fall, you'll get over it. It's really not difficult. Hell, I learned how to ride on a race-modified crotch rocket!!!

No, it wasn't very difficult at all to learn the basics of riding. I took a local MSF course. By 20 minutes into the first day on the motorcycles, it seemed natural and comfortable. I would highly suggest taking a MSF course.
