Purchasing a Helmet
Im looking for some shops in the mississauga/etobicoke area that sells decent helmets.
I know theres a bike shop on torbram/steels I cant remember their name or if their even still there I used to go there all the time a few years back.
My budget im hopeing to contain is MAX $600 I have to spend.
I need something that can breath really really well and wont fog
Full helment with visor
Not white in colour
perferably large eye port if applicable as sometimes I wear glasses
are there any brands I can narrow things down too?

Theres Cycle world west On Dundas just west of kipling across from Canadian tire and theres Parker Bros same location right beside Cycle world!
theres also Pro 6 cycle on Kipling just south of Dundas on the east side of the street . and theres T.O Cycle on Lakeshore and Brownsline.
Some nice lids are Suomy or Arai or Shoei lids . but if you wanna save a few bucks and get a nice one still check out the Shark or KBC line
or even HJC if you want a beginner lid!

Parker bros are really competitive in terms of prices... Shoei's new line of RF1000 are really sweet helmets and they range from 500 to 800 bucks... If you don't want your helmet to fog just get one of those helmet breathers... They are like face masks but fit on your helmet... The help reduce fog build by not letting the breath in...
Hope this helps...

on Friday I went to Cycle World With a friend that rides... I picked out a KBC Helmet (TK-9 Force RR), it hardly fogged at all when i was walking around with it on, its got a good breath deflector that helped quite a bit. Manufacturer Price was $299 USD on Motovan.com. It was $299 CAD at the store on sale.
Once i get it all sorted out now i know my size and what i like. So i can pick someting up simular once all is finished.
Oh ya i forgot to mention they have a big sale on most of their Helmets, Shark, KBC, and they had some Shoei ones on sale as well
Sale prices were decent, something that went from $700-$500 were on sale for $299 or $329 etc etc.

KBC helmets are alright? Just remeber spend $500.00 on helmet or spend 8 ++ on or head. kbc hasnt been around that long. Try a Shoei. You want 2 protect or head for 4 bills go a head. Its up 2 you.

Make sure it fits snug... its only your head that you're protecting...
