My Ninja isn't as responsive in cold weather.?

Didn't know if anyone could clue me in. My 250 isn't as responsive in cold weather as it is in the warmer months. I didn't know if it is just me or similar things are happening to other people. I always warm it up aswell before riding but still lags alittle here and there. I didn't know if it was normal in cold weather or if I would need to get something checked.

Thanks!

Yeah same here, it's got something to do with the CARB, i had the same problem with my 500EX.

Try using a lighter weight oil. Warming up the bike is good, however, oil circulation is critical especially in cold weather.

for 1 its the oil u need to run a thinner oil in the winter because it takes longer for the oil to thin in cold temps. I have multiple bikes and cars with and without fuel injection and fuel injection runs a little better in the cold because it resets its self for the colder air
