all of the Jap bikes (kawa, suzuki, honda, yamaha) are all quality bikes. You just need to make sure they were properly taken care of and didnt sit for years. That the oil was changed when needed. Bikes will run a long time and be very reliable if they are treated right. I would stay away from Harley's unless you have the money ot fix them. They are not as reliable but they are great bikes. Nice to look at and sound great.I have a kawasaki and would highly recommend them. If you are looking for a sport bike, then you cant go wrong with suzuki gsxr's.
