How can I SAFLEY remove water spots from the chrome on my
motorcycle? I've got some water spots on the chrome on my motorcycle. What is the safest way to remove them so it looks like new? Clay Bar? White Vinager? I need some good suggestions that really work!! Thanks Everybody!

Try WD-40. It is water based and removes lots of stuff. Just apply, rub with a clean soft cloth and buff. You could also try a dryer sheet, WET it, rub and rinse well. Takes off bugs REALLY well! It's awesome! People will think you are a pro!

Hi,water spots can be excruciatingly difficult to remove, considering they started as such a harmless substance...usually these are on exhaust and silencer (muffler and pipes) where the heat has 'set' them.Tha best I have found to remove these is a commercial product called 'Solvol Autosol' I have no idea, I'm afraid, whether or not it is available in the US, but it has been round for many years in the UK. (You could try the internet if your accessory store doesn't have it)It is a fairly non-abrasive cream which should be applied to (cold, not hot) chromed parts, gently rubbed in, allowed to dry to a white finish, then polished off. Be careful not to apply it to hot muffler pipes, as it will stain even worse than the water marks you have!Good luck and keep on riding...Cheers,BobSpain

I use "Never Dull". You can get it at most auto part stores or at Wal-Mart.http://www.nevrdull.com/
