Does anyone have any recommendations for using SLIME to repair ATV...

...tires? So I have an ATV tire (9x12x25) that inflates but loses air after about 2-3 days and I am thinking of using SLIME tire sealant to see if that helps. I figure that will be cheaper than buying a new tire for about $60. Any thoughts or recommendations? I have a 16 oz. bottle of SLIME.

first i would try changing the valve stem core. if that does not help , try removing the wheel and tire and submerging it in a tub of water and look for air bubbles. or just put the SLIME in .

first take off the tire and look for leaks ( soak it in a bucket of water or spray FANTASTIC around the tire untill you find a leak. plug the leak. if its a tubeless and it's loosing air around the rim deflate the tire and smear grease around the inside of the rim so it creats a "gasket" for where the tire meets the rim. if it has a tube try to find the leak and use a tire tube patch kit. if that doesnt do it try replacing the valve stem cap and parts. (i forget what it's called, maybe the core, can't remember...) if all that doesnt work use the SLIME.

for me personally i have never had a tire go flat after i used slime But first you need to make sure you got the right bottle, you need the bottle with the rubber bits in it because those seal up any holes in your tire.

i would avoid using grease around the bead of the tire!
