booked riding without insurance?

Hey... I was looking to buy a R6 this summer but the insurance quote is $12000... which is crazy... I was wondering does anybody know the fine you get or what will happen to you if you get booked riding without insurance? One of my boys did and he just booked it from the cop when he was about to get stopped but what would happen if you were to get pulled over...

5000 dollar fine. Plus when you actually want insurance you will be charged even more because youll have that ticket on your record.

12000 dollars for a bike? Might want to try calling around, that seems ridiculous, unless you have hundreds of speeding tickets or criminal charges that stem from driving....

30000 dollars a year? Seriously, either these people have ridiculously terrible driving records or theyre flat out lying.

I mean hell, thats almost how much i make in a year... Maybe if theyre trying to insure a jet bike or one made out of diamonds i could see it, but come on.

I know people with multiple drunk driving convictions and numerous at fault accidents that pay less than that....

bmw motorcycle are mostly dualsport and not supersport. r6 is an ss and it is a blacklist motorcycle on most company. statefarm is good because they go by cc of your bike

LOL 12,000? There MUST be a mistake. I don't think planes go that high.

Search more. Try all places (John Duffy insurance was good on bikes) Google for their website.

I know, one of my friends in highschool got a Ninja, because it was cheaper than a car, insurance wise. He used to drive that thing every single day, i remember because he started driving it the day he turned 16 and everyone was jealous.

If your on this site you probably have a car too so why don't you just go bundle both with statefarm you'll be paying 90-110 a month.
