hey guys, I need to upgrade so i'm gutting my system. Located in Mississauga. If I gotta ship, I'll go half and half with you on shipping charges.
Looking to get $120 for the bundle, but I'll be open to reason. PM me your offers.
Motherboard: Chaintech 7NJL6 (subsidiary of ASUS)
- NForce 2 chipset
- runs all Athlon XP processors, so great room to upgrade to a 3200+ if desired
- 2 x SATA, 2 x IDE, AGP8x, AMR
- 3 x DDR 400 ram slots - able to accomplish Dual Channel processes.
- 5.1 Surround Sound
Chip: AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton Core, NEVER overclocked, but I've heard that it's one of the best overclockers out there. Comes with great heatsink and fan.
Harddisk: 60Gig IDE DeskStar Harddrive, 2M cache
Power Supply: 450W power supply OKIA - rock solid. Never a single issue.

dont know what you mean about the mobo being meant to be pre-installed by manufacturers... it was on store shelves just like every other board out there..
anywho, to answer your question, I can manually change the fsb from 133 to 200mhz, and I can change all memory values, cas, latency... including memory frequency as a percentage of the fsb, from 133mhz to (I believe) 220mhz. but I'm not sure on that last value though.
you can also select presets in the bios, Optimal (most stable), Performance, Expert, and one other value (not sure), just in case you dont want to plug in the values yourself. Expert is fully manual and customizable.
because I wont be buying the new parts until the old parts are gone (money issue), I'd MUCH rather to get rid of everything all in one go..
