Volvo C70 vs Focus Zx3

i played follow the leader with this volvo for about 10minutes up airport road
we lined up at a light an it was a older guy mid 40's i guess an his stuck up lookin wife.. she turned an looked at my car an began to giggle an then started talkin to her husband (i presume) an point at my car again an they both shared an giggle she whinds down her window an says " take mommys car back home before i get in trouble" i didnt reply cuz i didnt really care.. so i sat an waited for the light ,,he begins to rev his engine i snap mine an let it come to 4200 just as the light hits green we go at it .,, now im makin it look like im tryin an he drops his hammer an i down shift to 2nd again an put my foot down an as i'm passin i just stick my hand out the window an waved i didnt beat him by much but 5 car lengths is good enough for me.

which model, you know?

i assume its the base non turbo model, not the 250hp version c70 that you raced unless your moded.

LOl only mods ive done is a ecu flash to be rid of my speed limiter an a home made C.a.I pvc pipe works great as as it sounds it works 9-13hp same dimentions as marcymotorsports has a nice deep growel to it to . i just drilled an placed mouts where there needed an put my maf where it should be . cost me $85 . im gonna change my flywheel next 35lb flywheel BLOWS chunks gonna get me a costwoth 9.75lb aluminum that should eliminate my the rest of my hangin rpms. cant put a forced induction on the 2k5 foci connector rods blow at ONLY 7 PSI!! so forged pistons an rods is the way im goin
www.cosworth.com there the only ones right now that have some resonable bang for buck

i figure after all the stages are done an with new internals an a 3-4stage turbo of somekind she should hover aroud 350-400hp. (crank)

long ways to go yet an no the c70 was not a turbo

all p1 C70s came with either LPT or HPT engine, there was NO non-turbo engine, even the smallest 2.0 5cyl was turbo which sold in Europe. And its a coupe, so it'll beat you pretty much unless the guy doesn't know how to drive an automatic.

LOL the lady he had beside him wasnt exactly the smallest youve seen
when you see a big fat cow literaly filling the passenger side the driver has some excess weight ill give him the handicap for the passenger . i only said it wasnt a turbo cuz i didnt hear one maybe becuase i was ahead of him an i was reving around 5700+rpm. but thanks for the turbo info

the lpt puts out like 190 hp, so that could have been the one u raced and its auto. the hpt (high pressure turbo) puts down like 235hp with like 245 tq to a 5 spd. i think u could have taken an lpt, but i unno

actually all old "pre new design" were all turbos except in europe. New s40 comes without a turbo for base model, yet they have the new t5 which come in both fwd and awd versions. And there are the vms c70's that push over 300hp
