92 Civic VS LS1 Camero
I was driving and i saw someone speeding driving a camero... anyways we end up at a light side by side i looked over and it was some old guy... so when i ligh went green i left a lil early u know to get him to run... of course he punched it i let him get to my fender then i punched it... i pulled on him soo hard... the next light was red again... he pulled into the plaza jus be4 the light so that he didnt have to come next to me... oh ya everything in the plaza was closed... hahahaha i love beat on guys that think all honda r slow...

Back in the day Hondas were slow as there was no real aftermarket back then (early 90's) and they had nada under the hood (except for v6 swaps n such) so even my old 4 banger Le Baron used to take em, not to mention my Camaro (the big heavy thing it is, older unit) so some of the older guys arnt up to date on whats what believing old ways, however todays camaros with the LS1's put out just nicely and have good traction (not the best but rather good unless it was a v6 or something and you confused camaros or ???). So Im wondering if he went all out, didnt scope out for cops ahead of time and remained cautios, if was an actual mini race or not, or if yer ride is performance modified. I aint beating on yer ride or any honda so no one blast me k. If he actually gunned it and wasnt in 3rd already and you smoked him then all I can say is good kill buddy
I personally dont know how well imports/hondas pull as the only time I seem to get one to line up with me (for fun and up to 80kms) are when Im in a stock v6 domestic, I still have an older belief that due to engine they lack off line torque but put out high end, the only import Ive owned (other than a euro) was an RX-7 and its a diff engine all together. Theres also something else that a lot of non-import driving older guys think (and ive kinda seen this too so...) is that the front wheel drives are squirly when launching/burning out and that thers a tendency for the car to jerk into the next lane when shifting gears and may have been a concern for him, - does this happen? I notice it on my fwd's but only a little.
sorry for the long post, good kill bro

Sorry to say brown kid i think your a lil off in your statement...I have enough customers with LS1 F-body's and Stock they can easily dip 13.3's on a SO-SO day so your lil civic has to have some serious juice to come close...
My ol' lil red used to run low 13's NA and it had a bit of a time with little modded LS1's So i dunno tell us a lil bout your grey EG and it'll bring some truth to the story...Toying with an LS1 f-body lol if he was going you wouldnt be able to toy the torque of them would leave you behind if you let off at all
My conclusion
Newer 6 cyl F body
LT1 f body
1 pretty juiced up civic
Wasnt going...

I walked an SS Camaro (2000+). (20-230km/h)
My car only ran 14.0 with that setup.

I find that a lil far fetched to if you ask me but more believable since you have some lag and you do make tq the problem is you dont get out of the dig well because of this and the weight factor so once moving its a good runner...
I've known a few SS LS1's to be little "FACTORY FREAKS" and hit 12.8's all day long bone stock so you can understand my disbelief a lil...
I have 1 customer
2002 WS6 6SPD LS1
HYPERTECH
LOWERED EIBACH
KYB AGX'S
K&N DROP IN
EDELBROCK STRUT BARS FXR
CATBACK EXHAUST (MAGNAFLOW)
12.4'S all day long such a beautiful car and it gets good gas mileage too

The LT1 just doesnt get any respect anymore heheh. Its obviously slower than a LS1, but is not THAT slow. My LT1 runs 13.5 @ 106 n/a with intake/exhaust/headers on street tires, which is comparable with alot of LS1's. Its a bit faster on the bottle

did the guy in the Camaro Know you were racing him or was he just in a rush to get to an empty lot to smoke a fatty?
Way to be part of the problem BTW.
Racing from the light. Want some paint chips to snack on???
