1985 porsche 944...
I dont know what this car has in it (i actually think its a 4 cylinder) but this kid drives one at my school and forever everyone said we should race, well yesterday on the way home i caught up with him and we got in seperate lanes and took off, i got ahead of him pretty quickly and he never caught up. until i shut down at like...90. It was awesome.

ok first off...
the Turbo 944
or the 951
is an awesome car. it's a fast car too.
the NA version isn't fast, but it's still attractive
and the 944 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
i don't understand what everyone's beef with them is. but i stand against the crowd on this one, but oh well. i love those cars.

yea not my favorite car but i kidna like them. My dads old boss has a turbo one. its pretty cool and his is really clean! he was keeping up with my dads Dak R/T but then again it is a truck. still, not a bad car, but sounds like the one u raced was a piece that some kid bought to say he has a porsche.

yeah I have no clue what you guys are talking about. I don't know whether there is a difference between the 85 and the 87, but I know for a fact my dad's 1987 porsche 944 4 cyclinder could kick my car's *** any time of the day. It was one of the fastest production cars of it's day... If there isn't a difference in engine model, he definitely was either not truthfully racing you or he can't drive a manual. My only complaint is that it gets up to like 55 in no time, once it's up to 75 though it does get a little doggie but if the guy knew how to drive it right sorry bro but he would've wasted you.
