Rusting sump common?
Hi folks
anyone know if it is likely that a blistering and weeping engine oil
sump could become an expensive leak on the move?
My friend has a Hyundai Coupe S with an expensive oil habit.
It isn't burning any and the gasket looks fine and there are no real
leaks when parked.
Is the sump easy to replace in situ? On the face of it , it looks like
I should remove the longways strut under the engine and the sump change
should be easy, Have I overlooked something?
