Quiet down Sant Fe tire road noise
Great improvement by spraying undercoating in the wheel wells.
Just remove the tires, take out the 8-10 plastic screw clips and remove the
plastic inner fender liner.
Stuff some newspaper in the areas you do not want overspray, (springs,
hoses, Struts etc) and
Spray 1 can of rubberized undercoating in each wheel well, allow to dry for
1 hour or so and put it back together.
Cuts the road noise by 50% at least! Cost about 6 bucks a can, and about 30
minutes work,+1 hour waiting!
Very happy and quite easy!

So why couldn't Hyundai do this at the factory?

Interesting suggestion on the undercoating. I will give it a try, but,
ill add some 1/2" thick dense soundproofing insulation on top of the
undercoating once its dry, before i put the plastic wheel well liner
back on. Thanks for the tip.

He's probably just cranky about making the mistake of buying a 20 mpg
SUV and having to feed it gas that's over three bucks a gallon and is
taking it out on the Koreans. Hopefully, this latest turn of events will
be the final nail it the coffin of the mindless SUV craze.
