Quality of Late-90s Hyundais
There's a used car dealer near my house that always has a bunch of
Hyundais for sale. Are the late-90s models pretty good quality? I'm
looking at various models, all in the 1996 - 1999 years.

should one buy a used late 90s h ?
i actually once bought a late 1980s h, and am not too proud of the folly to
admit the door locks, for instance, were pieces of
imho, depending on the prices of course, i would be especially concerned about
the drive train stuff (transmission) of the late 1990s used cars
imho, fixing a in' !@#$%^&*() (on any car) air conditioner can cost ya so
dearly that you'll hate yourself
if i were in the market, i'd just buy a brand new accent or new elantra in
order to get the vonderful warranty coverage
pay it for 5 years, and drive it until it eventually must go on the ....used
car market

For 500 bucks, sure. Don't tell us the prices or anything.

Yeah, I had to replace the A/C on my old Ford, and the brakes, and the
whole electrical system, and the entire engine. I hope this isn't
heresy on this Hyundai list, but maybe I should stick with Toyota
