Purchase Price 2003 Accent Good???
My adult daughter had a huge financial disaster a few years back and just
recovered from it recently. Her car died and we had to find a cheap means of
transportation immediately. She is broke but debt free.
We decided to buy a Silver Mist 2003 Hyundai Accent, 4 door, automatic with
floor mats as the only option! It came with some nice standard features such
as airconditioning.
The car is quite nice for the low price but it was the awesome warranty that
sold us.
The dealers "sale" price was about $10,500 which included a $1000 rebate. I
could only get him down another $300 for a final purchase price of $10,200.
I don't konw if $10,200 is a good price or not! How badly did we get taken??

Funny you mentioned. My son is looking at that car too. I ran it through
www.edmunds.com to get an idea of price. It provided the price for my zip
code, yours might be a tad different. Anyway, with only the basic standard
features, and floor mats, they came back with 10,945 after rebate. Looks
like you did okay. You have to remember.......No matter how good a car
buyer is at haggling, and doing his homework, the boys at the dealer do this
stuff all day, every day. I doubt anyone really beats a car dealer at their
own game. The dealer has to make money, and if he can't, he won't sell, at
least not for a reasonably popular car. Go to Edmunds and run it through
with your zip, and double check the features. kelly blue book has a similar
feature too www.kbb.com
