Keyless remote on 2002 Sonata
I recently bought a 2002 Hyundai with the keyless remote. I would like to
buy a backup remote in case the first one ever fails, I've seen them on
ebay for $10 to $20, which is much less than the $100+ the dealer wants to
charge. My question is: if I buy the remote on ebay, how do I program it
for my car? Is that something I can do? If so, where do I get the
instructions?
Thanks!

You should have received two remotes when you bought your car. If you
didn't go back and complain.

The instructions are online at:

Look for your year/model. Then drill down under: Body Electrical
System/Security System.
