re: negotiating the price
yes they do negotiate, and it gets complicated, especially with a trade-in and
leather seats et cetera
imho: be sure to get the approx $700 extended service contract, and then try to
follow its maintenance requirements religiously
they have a good value car to sell, and there can be negotiating flexibility in
its pricing too

I was able to nogetiate some with the purchase of both of my Hyundais
last year. I did better with my Elantra GT because I bought it at the
end fof their FY, they were shooting for a certain number of cars solds
and were offering good deals, to make those numbers.
In May, when I bought my Santa Fe, they were less giving - the
reliability reports had just been released that gave Hyundai good
grades. Demand was up. Their inventory wasn't so high. I negotiated a
fair deal, but they didn't move as much as I would have liked.

You'll have to negotiate the price, but the information on dealer cost
and the cost of options is readily available online. You should be able
to get one for $500-$600 (US) over dealer cost. If they are offering any
rebates like they did last year, deduct the rebate and negotiate
downward from there. When I bought mine last year, I got a $2000 rebate
plus another $700 or so off the price without even pushing them hard.
