elantra GT resonator removal
Hi, I have an 03 elantra GT. I have read that if I put a K and N filter and
remove the resonator box, I will get some more HP. I will put the K and N
filter which I always do because it is cheaper in the long run. I was looking
at removing the resonator box. In the 03 elantra it is located below the air
filter and the fuse box. It is easy to remove. however, it seems to end at the
wheel area acting sort of a cool air scoop. It does not seem to create a lot of
resistance. Will I get better performance doing this?
Also, everyone says that I need to remove the wheel to remove the resonator
box. However, I should be able to remove it from the top. Am I looking at the
right thing?
Thanks,
Andres
