Dashboard dials that show miles
I have to ensure that the speedo displays my speed in miles (currently in
KM) & wondered if anyone knows of a supplier that sells such dials ? It is
ok for my actual "mileage" to remain in KM - so I do not need to replace the
whole unit.
Lockwoods in the UK do not do dials for the Elantra - so I may need to
venture further afield.
Thanks for any info

They're on eBay! You'll have to buy a whole dash set (gasoline,
temperature, etc.) to get the speedometer face.

When we changed to Kilometres in 1974 we used to be able to get a
geared adaptor to fit between the speedo and the cable to turn the
miles into Kilometres. dunno if such an animal in reverse exists there
though.
Have you thought about drawing a speedo face on a bit of paper and
glueing it on top of the existing one? It'd have to be legal even with
only a few numbers in the right place.
In a few years time when Britain realises it's become the laughing
stock of the world by making such a mess of metric conversion, you'll
be able to take the bit of paper off and join the rest of the world.
For a very plain website try
