Here's a suggestion: take it to a Hyundai dealer. They can scan the
computer for codes to see if something is wrong and reset the light.
If something's wrong they can fix it. If still under warranty, the
repair will probably be free.

Re: CHECK ENGINE LAMP RESET
Disconnect the battery for about 30sec, reconnect and Light will go out .
If it comes back you have a problem a the dealer should look at it.

If you disconnect the battery, the computer memory that stores the trouble
codes and other important data for troubleshooting is wiped out.

Re: CHECK ENGINE LAMP RESET
Theta,
How does a dead battery or simply changing batteries impact this?

Re: CHECK ENGINE LAMP RESET
Hi! I tried your method, removing the battery for more than a minute, but
the CHECK is still glaring me.
If you've something else to recommend, please let me know.
Thank you

Re: CHECK ENGINE LAMP RESET
Take it to a dealer and have them pull the codes. Something is WRONG and
is causing the light to stay on.

Those data are stored in the RAM, which should be constantly powered to retain
