brake shims on 03 elantra

brake shims on 03 elantra
since the shims ore only distorted on the one hole (there are two holes
that hold the shim), I took the shim off the left side and swapped it on
the other side and vice versa!! Now can use the disc pads a little
longer, they are in good condidtion with 39000 miles

Pretty sure you can do fine without the shims at all if you need to.
