99 accent brake drums
How long on average do rear brakes last?
we have 133 000 kms now, were on only our 2nd set of front pads/rotors and
never had the rears done....
some times when its wet out from day one we had the car youd hear a light
scraping from rear wheels. went away after a few applications of the
brakes...
but now at 133 000 were getting the odd mettalic scree from the rear brakes.
think they be gone or just more crud?
im gonna have canadian tire take a look when i drive into thunder bay
tomorrow (4 hrs drive).
any one know w here i can get a good deal on drums incase i need them,
dealer wants 100.00 each

Your 133 000 kms is roughly equivalent to the 82,995 miles on my '00
Accent when I changed the front pads for the first time. I estimate my
rear shoes are good for another 10 - 15 K miles.
