After viewing previous discussions about the auto transmission
problems in some of the Elantras, I was wondering how you can tell if
your car needs the new update. My 2003 Elantra is still in the break
in period so I don't really get on it, but it seems that shifting into
third always happens in the 3,000-3,300 RPM range. It doesn't seem to
jump up there and rev like some others had mentioned, so I was curious
if this was just the normal shift point and shouldn't be that
concerned.
