1989 Excel 5th Gear HELP!!!!
Anyone know where I can get a Vacuum Diagram for this beast? Replaced
clutch, and Clutch Fork, and afterwards fifth gear does not work. It goes
into 5th, but feels like it's still in 4th. I'm hoping its just the vacuum
lines I have hooked up wrong. Anyone know how I can get this fixed?

Vac lines on a manual? 89? I don't know of any in general.
Only had a problem with my 85 VW Golf when I ran low on trans fluid.
Did not check fluid before going on trip. It was low and 5th blue
out!
Good luck

Usually this occours when vacuum switch dont engage (part no. 43868-21501);
it's located by the
select lever, outside gearbox.
