where is the thermostat for a 1993 honda prelude located?

If you look at the radiator then follow the black hose at the top it'll be right below where it connects to the rest of the engine. Thats where it makes sure the fans turn on when it gets too hot. The part that the hose connects to will be the thermostat housing. It should be the shape of half a small bulb.
It will be fastened on by 2-3 screws, and you'll need a new gasket to install a new one.

Actually, follow the bottom hose back to the engine where it connects. There will be two 10 mm screws on that housing, take it off and the thermostat will be there. There is a bleeder valve on that housing also, when you finish replacing the thermostat, open the bleeder valve with a 12mm socket. Start fillng the radiator until fluid starts coming out of the bleeder. Close the valve and finish filling the radiator.
