my car is revving itself when its in park jumping between 0 and 3 RPM. what

could be the problem? the car is revviin sometimes up and down and sometimes just at a steady 2 RPM and really loudly. i dont know what could be wrong. and also when i had the accident, my front tire and rim hit a curb causing the break fluid to leak out and i lost pressure in my break pedal. i tightened the bolt back up so that pressure came when i stepped on the breaks, butas soon as i turn the car on, pressure dissapears, turn it off and its back again.. does anyone know what these two problems are and if they are fixable. i drive a 93 honda prelude.

it may be the TPS "throttle position sensor".with the breaks you have air in the lines you need to bleed them.

It is more than likely the Throttle Position Sensor. It has a small ball inside it that when under proper vaccum it doesnt let air through. So you are getting air through there and it is an easy fix.You can get a new one or you can take it apart and make sure the ball fits properly. And if you dont have a brake bleeder just go get one of your buddies to help you out.All you have to do is take one of the wheels off and loosen the bleeder valve so when pumping the brakes, fluid will come out.Just get your friend to pump the brakes and let a little bit of fluid come out so that you can make sure there isnt any air in your lines. After a couple good pumps of the break just tighten it back up and proceed to the other side. After that it should work fine.If not then you should check out the brake master cylinder located on the firewall.

air flow meter playing up, idle speed controller playing up, vacuum leak, and you need to bleed your breaks and make sure you top up the brake fluid...
