how much does it cost to fix a broken timing belt on 1992 prelude ???

It should be about $160 for the parts and labor to replace the belt that you should have changed before it broke..Unless you are very lucky, it will now be another $1500 to $2000 for the bent valves and damaged valve seals when they rebuild your damaged cylinder head.

$300 before it broke. Now over $2,000 for remove head and replace the bent valves. Honda says to change the timing belt at either 60,000 or 90,000 miles. Cars need more then just an oil change to keep them in good shape.
