Engine swap or rebuild? H22 99' Prelude?

Ok, well i own a 1999 honda prelude which, at the moment does not work, i was thinkin of rebuilding the motor and adding aftermarket parts such as pistons, rods, camshafts, etc. and going turbo, the motor has 130K. Then again I was thinking of doing a motor swap but dont know what type of other H22 should i put. I been hearing type s, JDM, and spoon engines, but i want in addition to do internal work. I have about 6K that i can spend to fix my car. So which should I do, rebuild the engine that i have now, or buy a new engine and do internal work as well?
