yeah they are a good car very powerful it depends on if your getting the 1.8 or 2.0 or even the 2.2 also depends on your age as it will be alot to insure if you are a young driver if you are into hondas and want to sport it up then i would suggest a honda civic coupe as there is alot more parts you can buy for them and they also around the same speed as the prelude. also depends on the year as the new ones are not as good as the old ones they are less bhp and not as quick but it depends what you are using it for, a show off car or just a car to get around if you want it as a show of car then i would suggest the civic but as for power and acceleration then yes go for the prelude hope that helped there is some reviews below on the prelude the top one is a 1996 reg prelude and the bottom one a 2000 reg prelude if u go on google u can type in prlude reviews or civic reviews
