89 Honda Prelude 2.0si L4 FI won't start?
I was having trouble with the battery being dead in the morning when I would go to start my car. I started unhooking the positive cable at night and rehooking in the morning and it would still have a charge. Then my car started going dead when I would stop. At first I could restart it immediately just fine, but it was cutting off most times as I stopped. Sometimes I could keep it from dying by revving the engine a little. Then it got to taking more tries to get it started back. Now it won't start at all. I've put new plugs and wires on it. Somebody said that a bad distributor could drain the battery and keep the car from starting. They also said that the distributor could have been going out slowly is why it took a few weeks to get to the point where it wouldn't start. I'm not sure if the battery and the car not starting are related. Has this problem ever happened to anybody else, or do you know what may be causing this? Thank you!
