86 prelude 275,000kms- New motor or Rebuilt?
Hey guys,
I just bought 86 prelude, exterior is nearly mint, low pro tires, and nice mags. Paid 1400 Canadian. Problem is the motor is gutless, burns oil from both ends, and idles too high. I would like to replace the motor, and was wondering what path I should take to do so...
Also, how difficult is it to replace the auto transmission, preferably at the same time.
I would like to know approximate labour costs, parts costs, and any money saver tips you guys can throw out there.
Thanks in advance.
