Look in the install sheets aw www.hondasuv.com. You can install it
yourself, and buy the receiver from one of many online sellers of Honda
parts.. They even come up on eBay from time to time.
What did you think XM ready meant?

Like most innocent babes, he thought it meant that the radio was ready
to give him XM entertainment. As in, ready to go.
Just like the slick marketers selling "HDTV ready" displays. They'll do
anything they can short of blatant out-and-out lying to get something
desirable on the packaging. "XM READY!" it shouts.

I know what "XM Ready means", i'm not an idiot...
What i said was do i need to get the necessary equipment from Honda??
I don't think it's worth $600 when i can buy a XM radio with a car kit
for less the $100...

Not as bad as things like keyboards and mice that are boldly labeled as
"Ready For Windows (current cool iteration)!"

Sorry, I wasn't calling you anything. Are the modules costing $600 from
the online suppliers? I dunno. I'm just saying you don't have to buy
them at a HONDA dealership.
If you want to retain the integration of your stereo / steering wheel
controls, (not to mention resale value) it's not too hard to install it
yourself in an afternoon.
That's all I can offer.
