Go to someone else at the dealership (service dept) and ask if they do
window tinting. Chances are they have a subcontractor that they use and
share the profit. If they say yes, then you know they are full of crap.
They wouldn't do it if it voided your warranty.

I know for a fact that OEM's consider these thing when they design the
components. They will even make sure the "CLUB" goes on the steering wheel.
The guy at the dealer is full of it. I would report him and his statement
to Honda Cust. Svc.

A friend of mine has a car window tinting company. He does all the tinting
for about 10 local dealerships. The dealerships mark up his work over 100%.
