I realize that other posters will disagree with me but my opinion is to
use Honda ATF since you know that it will work great. That may or may not
be true with other fluids made by other companies. Why take a chance?
A good flush is worth while. Just follow the recommendations in owner's manual.

EXTREMELY important to use the Honda-brand stuff. It's not generic
anymore.
Honda doesn't recommend a flush; however, they may recommend a procedure
to replace most of the oil. In the newer Odyssey, they recommend drain,
replace, drive a few minutes, then repeat--for a total of four times.
Since draining only gets a few quarts of fluid out, this process will
get most of the old stuff out--or dilute it with new stuff enough that
whatever's left over isn't important.
