Tire rotation
I was going to rotate the tires on my CR-V, before I did I checked the
thread depth and it was the same all the way around front and rear. I
checked the center, and outer sides the depth was equal.
I did not rotate, there's about 5k on the new tires.

I am a firm believer in rotating my vehicle's tires every 5,000 km (3,000
miles). If your vehicle develops any alignment problem, this will ensure
that the tires will give you the maximum tread wear, possible. Also, in the
case of most new tires, maintaining records of any rotation and seasonal
change-overs, helps you with any warranty claims.

Re: Tire rotation
I only rotate when the tread depth is 1/32 inch smaller on the fronts.
I got 100,000 miles from the original Michlin MXL's that came on my '92
Accord.
