Tire Question
I am getting ready for new tires and have been researching
tirerack.com. Has anyone purchased tires this way. How does the
warranty work , do you goto your install shop? Also the road hazard
part, was wondering the same. Any info would be good! Thanks!

I've bought my last 5 sets of tires from Tirerack. I've never had to
use any warranty nor have I purchased the road hazard coverage so I
can't comment on that. Tires always arrived about two days after
ordering, shipped from their Delaware warehouse to central PA.
I've taken my tires to a local place and to Walmart for mounting and
balancing, both charged around $10 per tire. Not surprisingly, Walmart
couldn't follow directions regarding the spare and had to do some of
the work over.
I used Tirerack to save money (anywhere from $40-$80) and to get the
tires I wanted, not what someone local wanted to sell me, IOW, my
local tire places do not carry Kumho or Yokohama.

I wouldnt take a dog to walmart car care. My dad had trouble with
them putting two different size tires on the same car. Walmart is
great though most anything else
